What a named calling looks like
A calling is not vague. It can be named. And it always starts in the same place: called first to Christ, then sent to something specific, often to shape a corner of culture or the future. Here are a few, including my own.

Kingdom Formation Builder
Gary Sheng
An exhorter who sees what God has buried in a person and calls it up. Gary builds calling-centered formation, putting discernment and obedience at the center of how people and institutions form the next generation, so no God-given potential is wasted.
Called first to Christ.

Kingdom Journalist
Isaiah McCall
Isaiah reports the stories most outlets will not touch: Christian persecution around the world and the truth others bury. Journalism as witness, so the church cannot look away from what is being done to the body of Christ.
Called first to Christ.

Christian Integrated Health Pioneer
Joy Villa
Joy pioneers a Christ-centered approach to health that treats the whole person, body, soul, and spirit, as one. Healing the way God designed us to be healed, refusing the split between physical wellness and the life of the Spirit.
Called first to Christ.

Kingdom Musician
Dawson Carroll
Dawson makes music that carries the Kingdom: sound as a doorway into God's presence, songs that name what the Spirit is doing and usher people toward him.
Called first to Christ.

Kingdom Storyteller
Alex Park
Alex tells stories that carry the Kingdom, narratives that make the gospel felt and imaginable for a generation raised on screens. Storytelling as evangelism, worlds built to point people home.
Called first to Christ.
Every one of these was discerned, not invented. Yours is in there too. Let's name it.
